Ganesh Chaturthi and Prasads
What Ganesh Chaturthi means for us?
Ganesha, commonly known as Vinayaka, is the elephant headed Hindu God who is believed to be the beginning of everything. He is believed to be the visible representation of the auspicious sound AUM.
He is the remover of all obstacles because of which he surely has a place in all beginnings. From Housewarming ceremony to Kumbabhishekham, the consecration ceremony of Hindu temples. In ancient times, it was a practise to dedicate the first verse to Lord Ganesha when started writing a scripture.
Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayagar Chaturthi is a Hindu festival which is being celebrated in India through the years. Method of worship differs but all are celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesh.
"Ganpati bappa morya,
